Some parents choose to get tattoos to commemorate their children who have been lost through miscarriage. This morning, I am reflecting on the profound impact that pregnancy loss can have on us. I have experienced two miscarriages, both occurring around the six-week mark. At the time, both were distressing, and if I allow myself to consider the matter further, they continue to be distressing to this day.
